Awareness-Raising Activity on the Proper Use of Plastics Conducted at Nalanda College in Sri Lanka
On May 20, 2026, an educational activity was held at Colombo Japanese School in Sri Lanka for students, using an awareness-raising video featuring Hello Kitty about the appropriate use of plastic, jointly produced with JICA. Through the video, the children deepened their understanding of environmental issues and also had an opportunity to learn about the business activities of a Japanese global company. They also enjoyed interacting with Hello Kitty, making the program a fun opportunity to think about social issues.
