Donation of 47 “Sanrio Nakayoku Project” Wheelchairs to the Japanese Red Cross Society

As part of our ongoing social contribution initiatives, Sanrio has donated 47 wheelchairs from the Sanrio Nakayoku Project to the Japanese Red Cross Society. A presentation ceremony was held on August 4, 2025, at the Society’s headquarters in Tokyo.
Each wheelchair is decorated with original illustrations of seven Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, on the sides of the rear wheels. These wheelchairs will be distributed to 47 Red Cross hospitals across 33 prefectures in Japan, where they will be used in pediatric wards.
