Hello Kitty Made a Surprise Visit to the United Nations Pavilion at the Osaka Expo
Since 2019, Hello Kitty has collaborated with the United Nations through #HelloGlobalGoals, an initiative promoting the SDGs around the world.
In May 2025, Hello Kitty made a surprise visit to the United Nations Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. During the visit, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming introduced #HelloGlobalGoals to visitors and shared the initiative’s activities to date. Visitors also watched a welcome video from Hello Kitty highlighting the initiative.
Through the visit, Hello Kitty helped convey to the public the importance of coming together and taking action for a better future.
