Received the "Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award” from the Japanese Red Cross

In January 2025, Sanrio received the "Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award" in recognition of its contributions to overseas relief and reconstruction efforts, donations to the Red Cross, and contributions to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Fund. During the award ceremony, the Japanese Red Cross character Heartora-chan and Hello Kitty also took the stage. Additionally, matching donations were made through point-based contributions from Sanrio shareholders and Sanrio+ members.
